Isle of Wight - The Needles

Early morning...... 8.30am bus to Southsea for interchange....
In bus......
Charging energy.................
Passed by Portsmouth...
Reached Southsea...... A silent pier...... Not many people here......
Waiting.............
to cross the sea.....................
with this 'ferry'....
Ready to go.....
Seriously.... This is my first time seeing this thing.... It is fascinating...............................
It got big fans.... Just like airplane...........
Arrived...... Crossing sea... from Southsea to Isle of Wight-Ryde..... Only 10 Mins.... wow......
Look... Look.... It looks a bit like stingray......
Notice the 'black tube' underneath the ship is filled with air now............. It is ready to go......
See.... It can move without water...............
Then, splash into the sea............... and go.................... amazing right???
Here we are....... Isle of Wight....
The Ryde Pier.............. A long long pier.....
It was a really really bad day....
It was raining and foggy the whole day.................
Look... There is a train on the pier...............
Heavy mist has covered the view of the town........
A quiet and peaceful town.....
See... Although this wooden pier looks fragile..... but it can support train, cars and people.....
Take bus to Alum Bay...... The Needles.....
On the way to Alum Bay......
Cottages and farmhouses are everywhere.....

Bad weather...... Look at the waves.......

It was raining all the while when we were heading to the coastline..... So sad......
If you see carefully..... This is the view from bus.... When the bus was driving along the coastlines.... It was like we are gonna fall into the sea anytime...... Can you feel it?

The view from bus...... Here is Freshwater.... One of the attraction points too....
Finally... we reached... The Needles..... We were disappointed by the terrible weather........
Zoom... Zoom... Zoom in............ Finally got this perfect picture of the Needles......
Fantastic.....!! This is what people called 天涯海角...
Finally I am here..... Feeling the top of the world.... I love this place....
Pictures... pictures.. and pictures...
Then, hopped onto a bus.... heading to the cliff at Needles........
I like this bus..... Look at the view behind.......
Imagine the bus is driving up high to the hill....... Just like a roller coaster.....
I bet your jaw will drop when you see this............
Nice???? It makes me WAHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will stay here............ IF the weather was not this bad............... (it was still raining that time)
and with thick mist....... I hate this..... It blocks my view.... =(
=)
Notice the blue thing? That is the bus which drove us up to the hill..... =D
The wind was so strong that we almost fall and roll down from the hill... hahhaa....
Notice the two rocks down the sea...... that is the Needles....
We were so near......... =)
See... This is the Needles.......
This is a chalk coastline.... The rocks are all chalk.... They are white.... and powdery....
The weather was terrifying.... We decided to get down from the hill.....
To the Needles Park....
Here.... The mini Needles.... =D
Then, we visited the Sweets Shop....... with factory......
Curious like a kid..... =)
The candy shop....
There were also Glass Making Factory......
The guy is making glass.....
The tools.....
The products........
A windy, cold, rainy day... Hungry.....
We were having the fried noodles brought from home..... (I fried it..) XD
Needles glass...
The painting at bus station......
The 7 Wonders in Isle of Wight........
Waiting for ferry to go home....................
Hungry.... Bought McD as dinner.....
Our ferry........
Tiring day..... In ferry......
In bus..... On the way back to London......
If there is another chance for me to visit this place again......
I definitely will do..... But I will check weather forecast before I travel.....
The mood to travel will gone no matter how amazing was the view......
I love this place...... I really hope I can sit on the grass with beautiful sunhine and enjoy the view of the coastlines one day...
